Tim completed his DM thesis in 1994 on transdermal HRT and osteoporosis. He has published numerous papers on the menopause and related matters and lectures both nationally and internationally on the menopause and pelvic floor problems.
He has edited a number of books. He is a past Chairman of the British Menopause Society and was President of the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS) Meeting in London 2009. He is a Board member of the British Menopause Society and of the International Menopause Society. He is the European associate Editor of Climacteric (the journal of the International Menopause Society)
He has been actively involved in a number of research projects in recent years .
